Target Audience
Gastroenterologists in MA and NE; gastroenterology residents, office managers
Program Objectives
1. Understand the types of alternative payment models that gastroenterologists may be participating in as health care reform continues.
2. Be able to describe what an Accountable Care Organization is and how specialists can play a supportive role.
3. Be able to describe the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) and how it affects payment models for physicians.
